How to wrap (DIY)
Alignment
Takeaway: Getting the start right, first section establishes the direction for the rest of the wrap.
• Feel for the binding holes to position the design.
• For exact top to down center alignement use a ruler to measure the overhang wrap on sides of the board.
• Secure the wrap with masking tape at 1 or 2 points along the board so it cannot move. Double-check your measurements.
• Start wrapping a small section, the first section establishes the direction for the rest of the wrap.
• Remove the temporary tape to do the rest of the warp.
• Take your time getting the start right.
Cutting
Takeaway: No need to cut to tight, you can always cut off more.
• Never cut on the top of the board.
• Cut on the side of the board.
• Option 1 : Cut on 90° angle against the edge (easy method)
• Option 2 : Cut along side the edge.
• The second can be harder with a curved or wider edge.
